History

We have been learning about the Maya. It has been really interesting and we have found out some really fascinating facts about life in Maya times. We have discovered facts about number, family life and the Gods they worshipped.

This week we discovered that the majority of the Maya diet consisted of corn or maize. They also ate lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as turkey. To see what meal times would be like for the Maya, we made corn tortillas and tasted them. We are glad that we have a much greater variety of food today!
