During PE this term we have been learning how to follow maps to key locations. Spelling this week saw Maple class learn how to spell new words and try out their newly mastered orienteering skills. At each location on the orienteering course there was an anagram that they had to collect. Once they had collected all eight anagrams, they made their way back to the classroom, where they had to unscramble the anagram to discover their new spelling word for the week.
During this English lesson, the children had to create a poem on the theme of belief and believing in themselves.
Here are a couple of examples.
