STORYTELLING FOR DAEDALUS AND ICARUS
This is the first Greek Myth we have read so far. We used our storytelling skills to retell the myth and have inserted conjunctions to help us move the story on using our story maps. We've also learnt how to start sentences with -ing and -ly, for example, 'Amazingly, Icarus could fly' and 'Flying, Icarus could see the guards who looked like tiny ants'.
Next we're moving onto the creature who lived in Daedalus' labyrinth - the ferocious minotaur! Find out soon what this terrifying half-man, half-bull gets up to.
