We have been learning about the structure of the earth and compared an apple to the layers - the core, the mantle and crust.
Our world is made up of tectonic plates. We live on the Eurasian plate. These plates move and to help us understand this, we did two activities. We created a tectonic plate jigsaw to show how the plates move in different direction. We also used a bowl of custard and chocolate. This showed us how the plates move around on the mantle.
