PSHE

This afternoon we went on the Life Education Bus! We learnt all about the different food groups we can eat to have a balanced diet! We have also learnt all about the different body parts. We then met Harold the giraffe and we helped him designed a healthy lunchbox! We then learnt the importance of sleep and a good night's sleep!

We have been learning about medicines and drugs. The children created posters to show the rules around medicines and drugs.

This afternoon we started our new PSHE topic. We discussed the different types of medicines. We know they come in liquids and tablet. We then read a story about a little boy taking other people's medicines. We then wrote our own rules about medicines.

Today we have a discussion about what children can buy for 50p and a £1. There was some very interesting answers such as a pair of jeans from Next, a bike and an Xbox!

Today we came to school wearing spots to raise money for ‘Children in Need’. We all had lots of fun taking part in activities such as ‘guess the name of the teddy!'

As part of friendship week, we created our own new friend. We designed them to be a 'good' friend! Here are the children introducing their new friend!
