History

For HERstory, Maple class looked at the inspirational Rosa Parks. We were first introduced to her early life and then learned about how her one brave act helped start the end of segregation in America. We all liked to think that we could be as brave as Rosa was that day and hope to help in many ways in the future.

We organised her life in a time line and discussed her main characteristics before ordering them into a diamond ranking.

Ordering Historic eras in a chronological order.

During this lesson, the children were given descriptions of 10 key events from World War 2. They worked in pairs against the clock. They all worked extremely hard and managed to complete their task.
