Class Worship

Ash Class led worship on the theme of serving with no strings attached. They shared that Jesus always served others with no strings attached.

Elder Class led a whole school worship around the theme of ‘meeting personal challenges’. We held a Mastermind competition, where children answered questions about people who have faced difficult times in their lives, but went on to succeed. We then shared the story of Barnabas from the Book of Acts in the Bible.

Beech class led a whole school worship on the theme of Trust, the Christian value we have been reflecting on this term.  We had the idea of trust in school, when Mr Holmes (a rather dapper dressed Aaron) had to trust some pupils as he left his super dojo tea party with loads of tempting cakes on display.  We also acted out some stories to show how important telling the truth is in ensuring people can trust you and how you can always place your trust in God.

Oak Class led our first class worship of the year. Our value this term has been ‘Thankfulness’ and Oak Class shared a special edition of ‘Countdown your Blesings’. Each word identified linked to life’s blessing: family, friends, food and love! Bible corner used scripture to share how these blessings are shared in the BIble.
