We looked at the paintings below. We discussed how they showed new life and transformation. We shared what we thought the paintings showed. We then created our own piece of artwork.
This afternoon we looked at signs of new life. We watched a video of how new life happens on a farm. After that, we used our sketching skills to try and draw a tulip. We learnt that we had to “tickle” the paper to ensure we didn’t get thick black lines. We then tried to smudge to led to try and create a 3D effect.
Today we remembered the soldiers in the war by creating a wonderful piece of poppy art using newspaper headlines.
