HANNAKAH
We had great fun playing the ‘Dreidal Game’ just like the Jewish children we watched on the BBC Class Clips video. We played for £1’s!!
Whilst playing we sang the ‘Dreidal Song’ as well.
I have a little dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I shall play.
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, dreidel I will play.
HOT SEATING DAVID
Today we had an amazing visitor - David from the Old Testament story, 'David and Goliath' called into class to give us first hand knowledge of his brave adventure. We asked some very deep questions:
Did you know you would win? Millie
Why did you step up to fight goliath? Simon
How did you feel when goliath was dead? Olivia
Why risk your life for your village? Willow
Were you happy becoming king? Evie
How did you feel when it was all over? Kerem
Did you think you could do it without God's help? Nico
Were you angry when the Philistine Army laughed at you?
Did people put pressure on you to be the hero? Madeleine
Is your relationship with your brothers a strong connection? Evie
