Ash Class

We had a special delivery!

Life Cycles!

The children tested different materials to see which one would protect the egg.

The children designed a boat and then tested to see if it floated or sank.

The children were set a challenge to make a mop. They predicted and then investigated the best material to use.

We went on a winter walk in the woodland to discover signs of winter. The children had fun investigating ice and snow.

The children looked at images of the moon and saw black spots. We discovered that the black spots were craters. We carried out an investigation to find out which object would make the biggest crater.

The children made puppets and then investigated what happened when they changed the angle of the torch and distance from the puppet.

The children spotted birds on the playground. We used books and the internet to find the names of the birds. We shared our findings with Mrs Kirk and Hawthorn Class.

Chorley’s Angels visited school to teach us about safety in the home and how to get help if someone is hurt. The children learnt how to put someone in the recovery position.

We enjoying walking in the woodland spotting signs of Autumn.

We enjoyed using our senses.
