WHAT'S THE STORY CHORLEY?
To celebrate the town's project, some Primary schools have been challenged with painting a bench which will be displayed in town and in school later in the summer. The theme needed to be based on a literary text and about the sea.
Some talented artists have used Edward Lear's 'The Owl and the Pussy Cat' as our theme. We've started with drawings and then we are now on the painting sections.
The children show great teamwork as well as their artistic talents. They have been committed to a long term project which takes weeks.
