Data Handling
Year 5 have been exploring how to use databases using Purple Mash. We thought about how databases are used and why they are useful in everyday life. We then learned how information is stored in different records using fields and worked on searching an alien database to find information to simple questions, before moving onto more complicated and/or searches.
Year 3 and 4 have been learning about Branching Databases. We created our own on paper before putting the data into the online database.
