Diwali

Elm Class enjoyed celebrating Diwali.

We enjoyed learning about the Hindu festival Diwali. We made rangoli patterns, divas, cards and lanterns.

This afternoon we learned the story of “Rama and “Sita”. We learned that Hindus light candles during Diwali to remember that light triumphs over dark and good triumphs over evil. We then made our own candle mats and attached a tea light to the middle.
