Elder Class

We dissected lilies and then raised our own questions to investigate.

We linked Science with English and made shadow puppets to recreate the fable ‘The Ostrich and the Penguin’.

We investigated how shadows are formed and how we can make them bigger or smaller.

We investigated how light travels.

We tested different materials to see which would be the best black out fabric for curtains.

Chorley Angels came in to teach us first aid skills.

We linked our PE lesson with our science investigation about muscles.

We used red coloured water and plastic gloves to create our own version of hands without bones.

Using our new knowledge of the skeleton, we created a split pin paper version.

We used dog biscuits to create what we thought our skeleton looked like.
