Raging Rivers

The Water Cycle

We have learnt about the water cycle and used the correct vocabulary to describe the process - evaporation, condensation and precipitation. After drawing our own diagrams of the cycle, we each made a water world using compost, water and cress seeds. These will show the water cycle in action.

RIVERS

We have explored features of rivers from their source to the sea. We have used our knowledge to create models using plasticine to incorporate all the vocabulary and worked in teams of 4.

Year 3 and 4 have been studying the features of a river. We worked in small groups to create models of rivers using plasticine.
