KS1

In Almond class they planned how to make a pizza including which base they wanted and toppings. They then got to taste their yummy pizzas and evaluated how they tasted.

Elm Class designed, made and evaluated their own moveable toy.

Birch class created their own moving beanstalks. They explored different fastenings to attach Jack to the top. Jack then moved up and down the beanstalk when the children held their paper plate from the top.

The children were given the task of designing and making a boat using a range of materials and tools. The boat needed to float on water and carry the penguin back to Antarctica.
